Some of the kids eco-tees we're seeing are a bit heavy-handed for my taste. There's a fine line between a clever slogan and some creepy preachy statement on a preschooler.
Junkfood's ultrasoft Live Free/Live Green tee spotted at hip kidswear purveyor Stinkypants strikes the balance and finds the cool. Not that I entirely know what the line means - unless it's some sort of Zen reference to the existential freedom one experiences by cutting back on needless consumerism. But that wouldn't fit nearly as nicely on a size 4 tee.
If you really want to practice what you preach, you'll buy it a size up and get an extra year or two out of it. -Liz
