We're already huge fans of the kids' backpacks from Dante Beatrix as we already revealed (again) this week, so it's not surprising that they've got some new items we're adding to the must-have-it-NOW-NOW-NOW list.
First of all, their new wheelie bags for kids are an essential once your child is old enough not to make you carry all 700 lbs of his stuff through the airport. We first saw Dante Beatrix's new kids' luggage line at a children's trade show earlier this year and couldn't wait until they were available for sale so we could rave about them.
The nylon is tough, the proportions are perfect, the three animal designs are beyond adorable--although if you stick with the darker colored dinosaur, your luggage will probably look newer longer. Best of all perhaps, the suitcase handle adjusts to full adult height. (Not that you'll ever end up having to use it or anything.) The suitcases are a refreshing entry into a market of kids' suitcases that pretty much offers Dora, Elmo, or nothing.
If it's a bag of your own you're looking for, check out Dante Beatrix's new laminated canvas large Haul Totes which are every bit as large as something called a "large haul tote" should be. Seriously, these things are huge. There are four bright, metallic-accented prints to choose from but we happen to favor the ladybug--in part because 20% of the sales price will be donated directly to Project Ladybug to help children with cancer.
