A jewelry idea that just sort of popped out
You can always tell a great jewelry artist when you want to wear pretty much everything she makes. And that's just how I'd describe the innovative stainless steel pop-out jewelry from Houston artist Melissa Borrell.

Just like those old cool plastic toys in the Cracker Jack boxes that you would snap out from the frame and assemble, these colorful pendants and earrings come still attached to the metal card they were punched out of. Pop them out (thus, the name), attach to the earring hooks or necklace chain that comes with, and bend and twist and shape your jewelry into something 3-D and awesome.

I'm in love with pieces like the 18k plated gold circle earrings because they allow you to wear something big and statement-y that's still completely lightweight and comfortable. Or for something really cool, stick two colors together like the layered earrings. But if you're looking for something festive and fun for holidays at a great price, don't miss the red pendants which ring in at a very nice $36.

Let's just say don't go shopping when you're in a rush. -Liz
