Honestly, there are so many ways this could've veered off into the overly-cloying ditch, but it never does. It's just plain upbeat, prairie-themed fun. The characters are likable, the music is catchy, and any kid who's ever had a thing for Toy Story will be ready to jump on the cowboy bandwagon.
