This will be the first Easter in a very long time that we'll actually be celebrating with extended family. Other than
a plane flight with three young children (help!), the toughest item on my agenda will be tracking down cool Easter best clothes for my kids.
In years past, I've gotten away with more casual attire on Easter, but if I had my druthers, my girls would be wearing Easter dresses from the gorgeous new spring line from CMP fave
NoKo. I'm completely in love with the
Nico dress (at top), particularly that stylish sash. It's Easter-fancy but not so fancy that my girls couldn't wear the dress again to their many birthday parties or visits with friends.
If you prefer something a bit more formal, then I'd go for the
Michi dress (above) which is definitely a classic style with a fuller skirt, but features an Obi-like waist that adds an Asian twist. There's also a brand new line of
knitwear for girls that runs a little less expensive and includes pima cotton dresses embellished with the same distinctive Japanese accents, and a line of sweet
Peruvian cotton shrugs that may be the best deal at the shop.
Of course these are not your average dresses, and therefore, they are not your average prices. I consider myself lucky that we've got a Grandmom who love to shop.
