We love checking out what's new and hot at one of our fave boutiques, Psychobaby, and this spring is no exception. They've packed their virtual shelves full of warm weather duds that will make your little hipster stand out at the playgroup.
Now here's the coolest part: If you happen to live in Chicago, you can peruse it all in person at their storefront where they'll be hosting me, Cool Mom Picks co-founder Kristen Chase, when I do a fantastic mom's night out in-store event on April 22 from 7-9pm. There will be food, drinks, and hello, shopping, plus you can pick up a copy of my new book The Mominatrix's Guide to Sex, as well as a swanky gift bag, if you're one of the first 50 guests. Plus, I'll be donating a portion of the proceeds from book sales to local charity Association House, which Psychobaby is generously matching.
And get this: Sitter City is providing free babysitting for the event. Whoo!
While you're there, you can get an up close look at two of my favorite new items at their store right now: The fabulous Appaman mod dress (pictured) that I'm coveting for both my girls, and the Hi Ho Batik punk rock kids shirt for my son that's a nice change from the generally boring boy's summer wear. In fact, I just might pick them up while I'm there on the 22.
