You make your bed
I've had new bedding on the brain lately. Maybe it's the change of seasons, maybe it's the fact that we no longer have babies who are going to be spewing liquids all over our bed. (Or so we hope.) But after looking at the department store damasks and same-old stripes, I started to wonder if I'd ever find what I had in mind.

Something modern but cozy. Pretty but appealing to the sigOth too.

Then I found it. Oh yes. The new bedding collection from Virginia Johnson is just exquisite. The cotton quilts and pillow cases are block-printed by hand in a sunny yellow, cheery aqua, or lovely teal. But I think it's the chocolate floral burst pattern (shown here) that's just my speed.

It's also available as sweet baby bedding should your bambino be so lucky. -Liz

Order the bedding collection from Virginia Johnson from her website. It starts shipping 10/7.
