Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and it's certainly one of my kids' too. But with all the costume-wrangling and candy-buying and party-coordinating, I suddenly realize I have yet to hang so much as a fake spiderweb on my front door.

So I poked around some of our favorite blogs and websites and found a ton of inspiring craft ideas to help me get into the spooky spirit this week. My criteria: 1. They look cool. 2. I scanned the supply list and instructions and said to myself, Even I could totally do that. -Liz
On Kaboose, Kami Bigler offers up a super simple tutorial to dress up mini pumpkins for Halloween. (Above)

The pasta skeleton craft project on Martha Stewart finally gives me something to do with all those leftover sheets of black construction paper! (You know what I mean.)

Makezine has a ton of great ideas, as always, including these super simple Halloween tombstones.

Parents.com has plenty of Halloween bag ideas that save you from those plastic store-bought pumpkin buckets. I love these monster treat bags which would make adorable Halloween party goodie bags, or a regular trick-or-treating bag for a younger child who doesn't need a whole pillowcase to make his rounds.

You don't need much more than cheap votives, black construction paper, and a hole punch to make the creepy Candle-eye-bras (get it?) found on Family Fun. My kids think the picture is hilarious.

At Make and Takes, a pumpkin stitched card that I think even I could do. If I can find needles. And thread. And a card. And an awl.
