Kids like snacks. Like, really, really like them. Understatement of the year, right? I truly believe that if I just had a constant supply of snack-type foods on hand, my children would eat all day. And I have a sneaking --or is it snacking?-- suspicion that they aren't the only ones.
So it's no surprise, then, that they were thrilled to help me test some HappyBaby organic snacks recently. And their thoughts? Let's just say their mouths were always too full to speak.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and interpret their silence as approval for HappyBaby snacks.
This CMP fave company has just launched two new gluten free options (Strawberry and Sweet Potato) in their HappyPuffs line --and I love the idea of gluten free for young babies, since wheat isn't necessarily the best thing to introduce early. But they also have all kinds of other great snacks for babes of all ages, too.
The hands-down favorite in our house was the HappyMelts, freeze-dried yogurt and fruit drops that really do, well, melt when you eat them. My kids devoured these as though they were Lucky Charms marshmallows. (Which, let's be clear, they have not actually had. Yet.)
So, they taste good, sure, but what I love even more about the line is that they're so much healthier for little ones than so many other packaged foods out there. These snacks are organic, free of many allergens, packed with real fruits and veggies and very clearly labeled. You know exactly what's going into your child's mouth.
And trust me when I tell you that you don't just have to be a baby to like them. My kids -- you know, the ones who complained when I finished the last few puffs-- can attest to that. -Stephanie
