This week on Blogher Style, I wrote about the new 2011 Pantone color of the year: Honeysuckle.

Well slap me silly, I would have thought it would be some sort of yellow shade but nope. It's pink all the way. And why yes, I am laughing a bit at Pantone's promises that honeysuckle elevates our psyche beyond escape, instilling the confidence, courage and spirit to meet the exhaustive challenges that have become part of everyday life.

Will pink nails and rosy scarves instill us with the confidence to meet life's exhaustive challenges? Maybe not. But I do like the color.

Since Sephora is currently running a promotion that offers free shipping with $50 orders, plus 3 free samples, I combed the joint for some lovely products that can help keep you pretty in honeysuckle pink.
Josie Maran lipgloss earns Sephora's Natural Seal, and the "Precious" shade (at right) looks very wearable.

Bobbi Brown has always done right by me, and the Pretty Powerful Palette can add a nice burst of pink to pale or medium skin tones.

Tarina Tarantino makeup brushes let you brighten up your vanity with pink, before you've even cracked open the blusher.

Fans of Benefit love their Full-Finish lipstick, and their "Pinking of You" shade will be so surprising and fun if you don't save it until spring.

"Pinking of You?" Man, I just want to name cosmetics for a living. -Liz

Eyewear that brings life to the party

At some point, most of us have accepted an inconvenient truth: reading glasses are now part of the outfit. They live on the nightstand, in the kitchen, next to the computer, and somehow always disappear precisely when we need them. But d…
