Of course, most of us aren't Montreal mamas, but that's what online shopping is for.
I started browsing their websites to write this post and, well, let's just say I'm amazed. These artists have some of the most original and incredible creations and I kind of want one of everything.
From the endearing stuffed animals and creatures by Raplapla (above) --actually, my kids already have some of these and love them!-- to the incredibly simple wood toys from Twig Toys, this collective of talented women have something to please everyone.
Prints from La-Tee-Doe (at right) and Zoo Babies and textiles from Coucou Salut, Moon and Sparrow, Jules Mon Poisson Bulle and Poids Plume will all amaze you.
You might need a little help from Google Translate for a few of the sites, but as far as I'm concerned that's an even better way to justify the shopping. It's like getting a free French lesson with every purchase. Trés bien! -Stephanie
