I'm dying to make a reference to the fanny pack as being the butt of all tourist jokes -- oh wait, I think I just did. But let's be fair, there is something to be said to a hands-free way of carrying a little cash and your keys when you're out for a walk. One that doesn't make you look like a Jay Leno punchline.
Kathy Kramer, inventor of the very cool Invisibelt has done it again with the Booty Wrap - which is so simple, it's brilliant. Think fanny pack-meets-faux-sweatshirt.
The Booty Wrap ties at your waist with a drapey piece of fabric in back to cover your booty, sweatshirt style (admit it - we've all done it), while the front has two unobtrusive lined, zippered pockets for your stuff. The fabric is quite nice without the bulk of an actual sweatshirt. Overall, it's very well made, and four colors and three sizes means if you're between a size 0 and 24, you'll find one that suits you.
You have to appreciate the irony--use this thing enough on your power walks or gym excursions and eventually, you might not need it to hide your butt at all. -Liz
