How to do smoky eyes. A.K.A. If I can do it, you can do it.
For ages now, I've wanted to learn how to do the smoky eye thing--those perfectly smudged, beautifully lined eyes that manage to find that sweet spot between "racoon" and "morning after." And yet, for ages now, I have tried...and failed. This is one beauty trend that has eluded me. Until now. As it turns out I just had the wrong tools. I was introduced to the Laura Mercier Kohl eye pencil last year and wouldn't you know it--I've already bought two more since then. The Stormy Grey color is the perfect charcoal hue, with the perfect level of smudgeability. But as it turns out, there's more to the magic than mere color; the saleswoman also recommended the Laura Mercier Smudge Brush. And while at the time I was skeptical, I now don't leave home without it. It definitely gets the liner looking better than a q-tip or even a pinky finger, my previous tools of choice. As she put it, "you can use your finger...but I find I'm more successful with the brush." Spot on. Good luck, future sexy-eyed moms. Your smoky awaits. Find the Laura Mercier Kohl eye pencil  and Laura Mercier Smudge Brush at our affiliate Nordstrom or your favorite department store.
