Non toxic nails for non toxic kids
I'm so happy to have just discovered another adorably chic new line of non-toxic nail polishes, so I can have some worry-free fun with my nieces when we're playing salon. Little Bu is a new non-toxic nail polish line from the UK for sophisticated little ladies (and okay, boys who love colorful toenails). We've covered natural nail polish before and are so happy there are some great options on the market, but Little Bu stands out by nailing it (literally) in the style department. As in, these are colors I really want to wear, too. I love that the polishes wash off just with soap and water. It's the first nail polish line I've ever seen that doesn't require the heavy chemicals of nail polish remover. Now of course that good news is the bad news too--though with Little Bu's special top coat, the polish will take a little more soaking to really get off, so at least you can get more than a few minutes wear out of it. Still, great choice for parents who love playing salon on Sundays but don't want the kids wearing it to school on Monday. The colors in the Little Bu line are all super-girly and very fashion-y. My fave is Chloe, a pearlized mauve. For now Little Bu is only sold at Harrods in the U.K., but if you want to buy them online, they'll ship across the pond. Kid-friendly non-toxic, washable nail polishes are 9.95 Euros each (that's about $13 US dollars) at Little Bu.

Eyewear that brings life to the party

At some point, most of us have accepted an inconvenient truth: reading glasses are now part of the outfit. They live on the nightstand, in the kitchen, next to the computer, and somehow always disappear precisely when we need them. But d…
