Ideacious - for people with big ideas. Or people who love people who have big ideas.

My mom is one of those people who is always coming up with one great invention after the next. But she never really moves beyond the idea phase. We know a lot of our readers are brilliant inventors and entrepreneurs too, which is why I was so excited to share Ideacious, a fascinating new site--still in beta--that provides idea-makers with the assistance they need to get products designed, created and sold.

Ideacious boasts an extensive network to help you patent your ideas, design them, build them and more, ultimately even offering a way to pre-sell designs on the site. (Are you reading this, Mom?)

But that's not all.

The other purpose of the site is to connect buyers to creators. And that's where the rest of us come in. We get to browse all the nifty products on the site and either pre-order items that aren't yet in production or buy up the great ones that already are.

Pre-ordering is the cool part: put a small deposit on whatever neat creation interests you and wait for enough other buyers to join you. A little like Kickstarter.
