Pink and blue can feel like such generic colors for a baby layette. But when it is done right, it not only looks great, but let's be honest, it does help a new mom avoid those awkward comments about "what a beautiful baby boy!" when what she's really got in the stroller is a little girl without any hair.
If you're a fan of the traditional layette color route, Oilo has come to the rescue. Their soft, organic layette is available in a baby blue and a super sweet pink. But instead of the usual gingham, the print is very mod and cool. I would dig the layette design on my own sheets and pillowcases. and I'm not alone.
Apparently, parents are so smitten with the various Oilo designs, they end up purchasing the fabric for their living rooms and dining rooms. I totally get it. -Eva
