These Star-Spangled Marshmallow Pops (above) from My Sister's Suitcase are adorable and perfect for the younger set. Dip in chocolate, then roll in sprinkles: almost as exciting as fireworks!
If you can't get your hands on star-shaped marshmallows, try these 4th of July Marshmallow Pops from Wenderly. You should be able to pick up red and blue candy melts at your supermarket or local craft store. If not, there's always Amazon Prime.
If you prefer ice cream sandwiches to marshmallows (or want to serve both), these Dipped Ice Cream Sandwiches from Taste of Home are the way to go. Same principle: dip in chocolate or candy melts, roll in sprinkles, dazzle your guests.
You can also dip and roll to make these 4th of July Pretzel "Sparklers" from Cupcakes and Cashmere. Adorable, right?
Want a red-white-and-blue treat minus the Red 40? No problem! It can't get easier--or cuter--than this Watermelon and Blueberry Flag snack, spied on Lisa Storms. Having a party? You can skip our national colors all together and get star-spangled with these Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Stars from Cheeky Kitchen. Sure, you'll need to help with these, but kids can certainly toss the freshly fried tortilla stars in cinnamon sugar. (I'm thinking you might be able to bake these, too.) Yum.
