Egg Press has been a favorite stationery and card shop of ours for a while, and their new baby announcements just keep them on top of the list in our minds.
These scallop-edged baby announcements from Egg Press are just delicious. They're stunningly designed and hand letterpressed, and that die-cut trim really helps them stand out from the pile of other announcements that may be amassing on mantles and refrigerator doors this time of year. (September is a busy time in the baby announcement biz!)
They're not super cheap at $17/6, but then again, they're less expensive than custom-printed versions. And in fact, I often love this kind because it doesn't require you to find that very perfect photo at a time when you're probably too exhausted to see straight.
You can even slip in your own favorite snapshot of the baby if you have one (candids can be even nicer than anything posed and professional), write a personal note, and you'll make some grandparent's, aunt's or best friend's day. That is, until you start calling on them for last-minute babysitting duty. -Liz
