Of all the throwback candies, candy corn reigns supreme. More than just nostalgic, it is among the most popular Halloween candies year after year. (Because it's awesome, that's why.) It’s also the inspiration for these fun, delicious candy corn recipes. When it comes to Halloween, I believe you can never have too much of a good thing.   There are tons of Halloween cookie recipes that call for candy corn, but I love this simple, wholesome approach. With a little bit of food coloring (we love these all-natural food dyes), Jenna at PBS Food turns simple sugar cookies into Candy Corn Cookies. What a fun Halloween treat.   These Candy Corn Milkshakes from Kara’s Party Ideas are a perfect Halloween party treat, especially if you invite guests with the candy corn party invites that Kara found. Love this party theme.   Melissa at Eighteen25 combines two classic treats to make her Candy Corn Pudding Pops. The pudding's texture means you don’t have to freeze each layer before adding the next, which makes this recipe quick and easy, just the way we like them.   These pretty Candy Corn Cheesecake Mousse cups (pictured above and top) from Glorious Treats are a light and fluffy dessert with a decadent cheesecake flavor. Glory tops hers with Cool Whip, but I bet real whipped cream would make these just perfect--and it's so easy to make. If you do that plus use natural food coloring, these babies can actually be an all-natural Halloween treat.     As delicious as all of these candy corn recipes look, you can always stick with the basics: a straight up homemade candy corn recipe. This one by Alton Brown can be found on the Food Network site and is a good place for candy corn purists to start. And maybe to end.
