We're Pregnant by Todd Parr: A funny, free ebook for new moms that gives back to kids in need

If you've parented toddlers, you're probably familiar with Todd Parr's children's books, and his distinctively child-like illustrations. Well, my interest was piqued when I found out about his free new ebook that happens to be for parents this time. Add the fact that they're donating $1 to Project Night Night for every download up to $10,000: I'm sold. We're Pregnant by Todd Parr is perfect for first-time parents who are experiencing all those ups and downs. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about an illustrated picture book written for me, but the story is actually very sweet. With a reassuring tone, Parr reminds us that, yes, it's okay to not have the perfect nursery. And yes, you will get moody sometimes. And yes, it's all worth it. If you're not familiar with Project Night Night, it's a fantastic organization that distributes care bags to children in homeless shelters with items like books, stuffed animals, blankets and other comfort items that make it easier to fall asleep at night.
