Every family has those terribly awkward and humiliating baby pictures capturing those off-moments you can't escape. Lucky for you, yours likely aren't included in a new book to be shared with the masses from the folks who brought us Awkward Family Photos. They've done it again, this time letting the kids take the fall in the hilarious new paperback, Born to Be Awkward: Celebrating Those Imperfect Moments of Babyhood.
Seeing as how babies have pretty much no motor skills and little self-control, there are plenty of fails to be giggled at, just like on your own camera roll: funny faces, spit ups, diaper blow outs, as well as a fine collection of kids climbing into toilets along with some pretty atrocious costume choices and misplaced props.
Doug Chernack and Mike Bender have put together quite the collection and we dare you not to laugh loud enough to wake your own baby when you read it.
I am pretty sure all of us could think of some of our own photos that could have easily have made it into this collection, which is partly what makes this book such a fun read. (I'll just save mine to show my kids' dates on prom night, heh)
Shakespeare it's not, but if you are looking for a relatable giggle, this is a fun little baby shower add-on or as a gift for new to be parents and grandparents. Mostly as a cautionary example of what not to do.
