We're obsessed with these two new tech gifts from Belkin
I got a chance to test out Belkin's 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock, and let me just say: this will solve your problem of constantly stolen charging cables. Yeah, this makes for a nice bedside charging station, but I chose to set up ours in a corner in our kitchen so that everyone can pop their phone, watch, earbuds, etc. on the dock and give their device some juice for a few minutes without retreating to their rooms. It's worked so far! While we're watching TV or eating dinner, we'll stick phones, watches, or earbuds on there to charge for a few minutes. Pros: It charges quickly (my iPhone 16 got back up to 1/2 battery in about 10 minutes) and you can charge three devices at once. The top magnetic charger (shown with the phone in this photo) can tilt back to lay flat. The base is very sturdy, and it hasn't once flipped over. It charges both with both Qi2 25W and MagSafe 25W technology. Cons: I honestly haven't thought of one yet. (Amazon, Target, Walmart) Meanwhile, Stefan has been testing out the new Belkin Stage PowerGrip. This is a portable attachment for your phone that feels like the grip on a DSLR camera. It's a great gift for anyone into photography. Pros: It's very easy to attach to your iPhone via the MagSafe ring. The battery indicator metrics are easy to read, and it easily syncs with your phone's camera (via Bluetooth), with a shutter release button that feels similar to a regular DSLR.  It recharges quickly and comes with an adapter that charges your earpods and phone simultaneously. There are some cons, though: It is challenging to keep the phone standing (and not falling over) when used as a charging platform, and it only charges in a standing position; it will not work if the phone is placed horizontally. That said, overall, I highly recommend this as an excellent and unexpected holiday gift.
