So let's talk Jeggings, and how to make them work for your kids.
We know that "Jeggings" are pretty much the fashion word for fall, and while we will probably be making fun of ourselves in ten years for it, we're kind of in love with them right now. Especially on kids.

My own girls have a couple of pairs these days and I love how they take the sturdy, casual look of denim but make them soft, comfy and playground-ready. Besides, they just love saying "jeggings."

It's not hard to put a cute outfit together either. Here are a few looks that I picked out from our sponsor Old Navy (thanks Old Navy!), that are as affordable as they are adorable. -Liz

[don't miss some great looks and an AMAZING giveaway after the jump!]
Of course, you have to start with the jeggings, right? There's a pair of baby jeggings ($16.50) in 2 different washes, but if you have a grade-schooler, there's an entire jegging category with four styles to choose from. Sign o' the times.

I nearly knocked over my own kids to snatch up this toggle sweater at Old Navy last week. The quality is fantastic in person and the length is perfect for indoor/outdoor fall days over a pair of stretchy leggings. $32.

You want more volume on top to keep the outfit from looking like gym wear. Blousey tunics are always a good bet and I like this floral tunic with smocking. You can also pair a dress that's slightly outgrown over jeggings and call it a tunic. It's a sneaky way to get longer wear out of your clothes.

Stick a tutu over jeggings, plus a henley shirt or a fun tee for a super cute layered look that's just enough girlie. This tutu's on sale for just $10 and the shirt is $5 (seriously) but in limited sizes.

Unless the jeggings are calf-length, I'm not crazy about lowtops with them, save for maybe a thick skateboarding sneaker. Shoot for hightops or boots of any length which also keep kids cozy and warm. (And man, how my girls love boots.) I can't believe how great these faux leather baby riding boots are for $19.50!

My favorite footwear pick though has to be the silver glitter side-zip boots for baby which have a chunkiness that offsets the fairy princess sparklicious glitter-doll thing. $19.50, and I wish they came in adult sizes.

And in case you're wondering, yes, little boys can get away with the jegging look too, just the same as they wear cotton karate pants. Keep the fit a little wider (Old Nave does a good job on this in their baby selection), and pair with pretty much any top you own. Boys are easy that way.

Check out Old Navy's Baby Sale online and in store with great deals starting at $5. Yes, $5.

This is the second of a 2-part content series, courtesy of our sponsor, Old Navy. (Yay!) The content and picks are ours and ours alone - and we had the best time doing it.
