The star tankini is a huge win -- a classic, modest two-piece updated with a modern print. I love the simplicity of the half-half black and white tank swimsuit for diving and serious frolicking. The collar swimsuit for girls is a really modern twist on a halter top maillot with a boy short bottom. And the skirted swimsuit is beyond adorable. Boys get in on the action too, with a couple of cool baggy surf shorts of different lengths. Plus you'll find beach accessories like kid-sized kaftans and even some matching star towels. Sizes start at 12 mo and go right up through 14 y, so yay for more awesome tween options! One note on sizing though -- the company was kind enough to send us samples to check out and my own skinny 9 and almost 11-year-old girls fit perfectly into their 8-9 and 10-11 suits in terms of length, but could stand to fill them out a little more where girth is concerned. The tankini (which I haven't seen in person) may be the best bet for slimmer girls; but if your daughter is fairly average, you should be fine. If she's taller, the adjustable halter strings of the collar swimsuit will suit her fine. And if you've got a boy? No worries at all with sizing. As for these prices ($50 and upwards), not sure I'd be buying tons for a baby but that's your call. Oh, one more note: Please ignore the brooding young models on the site. I have never seen a child under 12 look anything but joyful in a new swimsuit. Especially when they catch that first glimpse of water for the summer season. Find the brand new, modern swimsuits for kids and babies by Nununu on their website, and at indie children's boutiques everywhere. Thanks to the company for sending CMP samples for review consideration.
