Primary's new mix-and-match swimwear collection for babies and kids is modern, modest, and super adorable!
Each spring, one of our readers' favorite posts is our recommendations for cute, modest swimsuits for girls that are stylish but not...you know...a little old for them. We'll have our latest version coming soon! But in the meanwhile, I'm so excited to share this brand new swimsuit line for kids that launched today. From our friends at mom-run Primary, whose wonderfully wearable, affordable basics for kids and babies pretty much fill my girls' closet these days, there's now an awesome line of swimwear for girls and boys that will make a picky swimsuit-searching parent dance with glee. You'll find a colorful, kid-appropriate collection (sizes 0–12) of simple mix-and-match tops and bottoms including girls' briefs with decent coverage, boys' swim trunks, sporty tankini tops, and a few styles of rash guards. In fact, my 9-year-old was browsing the site and has her heart set on a boys' trunk paired with a rash guard. She's a rebel that way.

Best of all, they're all reversible! So my girls can wear a navy swimsuit with lavender piping one day, and then switch it around the next. I had the chance to see them in person at a press event, and while I haven't tested them out myself, they look very well made, with terrific, thick fabrics that are built to stand up to a summer of belly flops and underwater tea parties. Especially for the prices: from $10 for kids' swim bottoms ($8 in baby sizes) to $20 for maillots. And those trunks are quite soft, which is good news for sensitive little guys. Here's the best trick though: Since the colors and styles are all so simple and classic, when I look in my daughter's closet and realize her floral Hanna Andersson two-piece set is suddenly down to one piece (sigh, how does that happen?) I think I'm going to grab an affordable new top from Primary that coordinates with the print. Problem solved. Check out the new modern, stylish, but modest swimwear for girls and boys and babies starting today at Primary. Also be sure to check out the discounts if you're ordering 3 or more of any one item.
